Hey guys today we are starting a new project. The new project is going to be a music video! We are so excited to lip sync and create a really amazing music video. After our last project we feel really confident that we will do a good job with this new project. We figured out what worked and what didn’t work in the last project. We found out that the schools camera didn’t work that well and that we are going to use our phone to film. Today we are deciding what song we are going to do.
My group and I chose the song halla back girl by Gwen Stefani, which was released in 2005. My group agreed that we love this song, it’s a song that we all grew up listening and jamming out to.This song was a very popular song for the time it came out. This song was very successful on the charts. We all had the idea of coming up with this song. We had many ideas of how we can make this music video the best it can be. We are so excited to use some editing techniques to make this music video amazing!
The conversations for this music video can be summed up in the word CLAMPS. C is for costumes. The costumes in this halla back music video is 2000s California street clothes. For example low rise jeans, cheerleaders, and a band. L is for lighting, the lighting in this music video is bright the whole time. This is because it’s an upbeat song. A is for actors, in this music video there are a lot of people. There was a lot of diversity in the music video. M is for makeup, the make up in this video is a lot of 2000s inspired makeup. For example red lipstick, thin eyebrows, dark eye makeup, there hair was always in braids or down. The props for this video was a lot of stuff. For example they had Pom poms, band equipment, cars, and signs. The setting for this music video was in a bunch of different places, some of the places were the street where she’s in a car. Another place was school, she was at school a lot dancing and singing. The last place that she was at was the grocery store, where she kicked food over and danced some more.
